Old Brockway Golf Course

Old Brockway Golf Course meanders through towering Jeffery pines with majestic mountain and Lake Tahoe views.

Enjoy more than 3400 yards of quality golfing experience, including two par 5 holes. The tight fairways and the postage stamp greens are reminiscent of golf in an era gone by. Built by Harry Comstock and designed by renowned Scottish architect John Duncan Dunn.

Dunn is one of the premiere golf course architects of his era. He built many famous courses in his day, one being the Shinnecock Hills, NY, site of the 1995 US Open. Northstar California Golf Course

The Northstar California golf course in Lake Tahoe, California is an 18-hole, par-72 (men and women) course that will both challenge golfers’ skills and appeal to their senses. Designed by Robert Muir Graves, the course integrates Tahoe’s rugged, wooded landscape with wavy bunkers and putting greens. The result is an active golf course whose features create a flow of movement that seamlessly moves in and over the natural terrain.

Playing up to 6,781 yards, the Northstar golf course offers four tee locations and carries a rating of 72.4 from the Northern California Golf Association.  The Mountain nine demands precise, tight play through tree-lined fairways and across small greens.   The Meadow nine opens up to a links-style course allowing golfers to grip it and rip it!

Ponderosa Golf Course

Ponderosa Golf Course is the only publicly owned course in the Truckee area!  It is highly maintained and managed by Truckee Donner Recreation & Park District.  With the most affordable rates in the area the course features: club rentals, cart rentals, chipping and practice greens, driving nets, pro shop and snack bar.

This means we use the most ecologically sound maintenance practices to ensure a safe haven for both people and wildlife. We do not use any pesticides and only a minimal amount of organic-based fertilizer.

Tahoe Donner Golf Course

Set amid the natural splendor of forest and streams, the Tahoe Donner Golf Course enjoys a well-deserved reputation as one of the premier golf courses in the High Sierra. Open for play in 1976, Truckee’s original championship course was built and designed by Roy Williams, who designed the front nine, and then completed and refined by famed architect, Billy Bell, Jr., who designed the back nine.

In 2006, this hidden gem was reborn thanks to an extraordinary course renovation project directed by architect Cary Bickler and renowned shaper Eddie Krikorian. The renovation was so spectacular that in 2007 the course was nominated by Golf Digest Magazine for Best Remodeled Golf Course in America. Located just minutes off Interstate 80 in Truckee, CA, the course property is cradled among towering pines, and features meandering creeks, granite rock formations, elevation changes, and greens so consistently pure that they have been recognized for being the “Best Greens in the Tahoe Region.”

Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course

Set along the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course is arguably one of the most scenic golf courses in the world. Designed by George Fazio and opened in 1968, Edgewood is rated by Golf Digest Magazine as one of "America's Top Golf Courses." Challenging yet fair, this course offers a choice of four sets of tees, ranging in length from 5567 yards to a demanding 7555, providing a suitable test for golfers of all skill levels.

Throughout its storied history, Edgewood Tahoe has played host to a variety of major golf events. In 1980, the 55th annual US Public Links Championship came to Edgewood Tahoe, the first U.S.G.A. event to be held in Nevada. Jodie Mudd, a junior at Georgia Southern College coming out on top.

The U.S.G.A. returned to Edgewood Tahoe in 1985 for U.S. Senior Open Championship, when Miller Barber captured the title as the only player in the field to manage to break par on the course’s demanding layout. Making birdie on three of the first four holes of the final round, Barber's three-under-par total bested Roberto De Vicenzo by four strokes for Barber’s second consecutive Senior Open title. This also happened to be the first Senior Open to be televised, at that time broadcasted on an unknown sports network called ESPN.

Most notably, for the last twenty years Edgewood Tahoe has been the home of the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship. Each year, this star-studded event features some of the biggest names in sports, entertainment and politics. A favorite on the celebrity circuit, this tournament regularly features such big names as Donald Trump, Michael Jordan, John Elway, Mario Lemieux, Charles Barkley, Don Cheadle, Stone Phillips, Lou Holtz, Jim McMahon, and Ray Romano. Sponsored by American Century Investments and featured on NBC annually, the Celebrity Golf Championship is an event for the entire family.
