This snow park location is a former ski area and is a popular hill for tubing. The parking lot holds about 100 cars and can fill up quickly on weekends. There are three hills with varying degrees of slope. There is no lift to take you to the top so it can be a bit of a climb. Use your own sled or purchase one at the concession stand.

Take the 2.4 scenic gondola ride up to the top of Heavenly. There you will find the Adventure Peak play are, complete with snow tubing, sledding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

In the tubing area, tubes and riders are transported by tow lift to the top of the hill. Tubing is located mid-mountain just above the Gondola.

South Shore Lake Tahoe

Heavenly California Lodge
Location: above the Heavenly parking lot just off Keller Road.
Easy access and ample parking.  The slope is mellow and perfect for young kids who might have a hard time climbing a big hill

Highway 50 at the Airport
Just across the street from the airport is some open land with good sledding hills of varying speeds.  Parking is difficult.

"F" Street and Margaret Avenue
Offers different choices for how steep you want to go. There aren’t many crowds.  There are a good number of trees that make it exciting for some and scary for others.  Can be dangerous for young kids.

Spooner Summit
Location: Hwy 28, just off of Hwy 50 (about 9 miles south of Incline Village).  Steep and fast runs.

Kahle Park

Location: Between Highway 50 and Kingsbury Grade (207) where they meet.  The hills on the far side of the ball fields are great for sledding. Parking is free and plentiful. 

Kingsbury Grade
Location: Half way up the grade there is spot where you can pull over.  The hill is behind some trees on your right. It’s a small but steep hill.  Can be dangerous because you slide right into a row of trees at the bottom.

Incline Village Snow Play Area (Nevada)
Location:  Fairway Blvd, next to Chateau Clubhouse in Incline Village
A gentle hill.

Hope Valley Sno Park - Hwy 88 west of Pickett's Junction
Location: Heading towards Kirkwood, soon after turning onto Hwy 88, but before the first bridge over West Carson River).  Free for sledding and tubing, but there is a $5 Day Use Park Fee

North Shore Lake Tahoe

Locaiton: Hwy 89 South, just past the Truckee River and the Y.
Mellow slope with parking across the street.

North Tahoe Regional Park
Location: at the end of National Ave., North Lake Tahoe, CA
Hill for sleds, saucers, tubes, etc. with a $5.00 day use fee. 

Mt. Rose (Nevada)
Location: Mt. Rose Highway (Hwy. 431). Undeveloped area 8 miles up.

Top of Mount Rose Highway
Location:  In the open snowfields of Tahoe Meadows.
There is lots of room for snow play here.  Snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, sledding.
